Meerut’s internal road network is set for a major transformation along with the Rapid Metro corridor. Under the CM Grid Yojana, construction has started on the stretch from Bachcha Park to Commissioner’s Crossing and from Commissioner’s Residence Crossing to Circuit House.

Mayor Harikant Ahluwalia, accompanied by Cantt MLA Amit Agarwal and BJP Metropolitan President Vivek Rastogi, inaugurated the projects on Saturday. The initiative aims to give commuters an experience comparable to Bengaluru’s roads within 15 months.
