Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, the Congress party will organise Constitution Honour Conferences (Samvidhan Samman Sammelan) in every village. This initiative is designed to connect with backward and deprived communities.

The Congress Backward Classes Department and the Scheduled Caste Department have created a joint action plan for this program, which is set to begin on Constitution Day, November 26.

Program Objectives And Messaging

Anil Jai Hind, National Chairman of the Congress Backward Classes Department, stated that the conferences will focus on discussing the constitution.

Main Objective: To make backward and deprived communities aware of their rights.

Content: Discussions will include schemes launched for the benefit of these communities under previous Congress governments.

Allegation: He alleged that the BJP is undermining the interests of these communities, a fact that will be prominently presented.

Anil Jai Hind also noted that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had previously initiated the Constitution Honour Conference from Lucknow before the Lok Sabha elections. The program will now be expanded to every village council and urban area.

Rajendra Pal Gautam, National Chairman of the Scheduled Caste Department, alleged that the BJP's continuous pursuit of privatisation and contractualisation is a "conspiracy to end reservation" for backward and deprived communities.
