Ghaziabad News: Delhi Iron Trader Found Hanging In Sahibabad Warehouse; No Suicide Note Found

The body of an iron trader has been found hanging in a warehouse in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad. Family members said the individual had been missing since the night of December 1. Police have not found a suicide note at the scene and the investigation is ongoing. The post-mortem report is awaited.

Ghaziabad News: Delhi Iron Trader Found Hanging In Sahibabad Warehouse; No Suicide Note Found

The body of a 56-year-old iron trader was found hanging in his warehouse in the Sahibabad police station area on Tuesday morning. The deceased, identified as Satish Kumar Garg, was a hardware businessman and a resident of GT Raj Block in Naveen Shahdara, Delhi.

Discovery Of The Body

According to family members, Garg had gone to his warehouse, located in the basement of the Kalsi Building in Sahibabad, on Monday but failed to return home that night. When he could not be contacted by telephone, the family initiated a search.

On Tuesday morning, his son Vishal, son-in-law Mukul Goyal, and nephew Gaurav Garg reached the warehouse, where they discovered his body hanging from a noose. They immediately informed the police.

Police Investigation

Upon receiving the information, a police team arrived at the scene and took custody of the body. Acting ACP for Sahibabad, Atul Kumar Singh, confirmed that no suicide note was recovered from the spot.

Status Of Complaint: The ACP stated that a formal complaint (tahrir) has not yet been received from the family.

Cause Of Death: The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Ongoing Inquiries: Police are currently questioning the family and conducting further enquiries to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
