Two young men have died by suicide in separate incidents following domestic disputes within the Nandgram police station area. Police were informed of both incidents and have sent the bodies for post-mortem examinations.

According to ACP Nandgram Upasana Pandey, the first case involved 20-year-old Abhishek, a resident of Viklang Colony in Nandgram. He consumed a poisonous substance around 9 am on Tuesday morning. His family rushed him to the Joint District Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Abhishek's nephew, Suraj, reported that the family had celebrated Diwali with fireworks the previous night and everyone went to sleep late. In the morning, Abhishek was found unconscious in bed and bleeding from the mouth. He was first taken to the nearby Mariam Hospital, which referred him onward. The family then took him to the Sanjay Nagar Joint District Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Abhishek worked as an electrician.
