On the same day, YEIDA conducted a lottery for 12 plots in the MDP. In the 2,100 sq metre category, three applications were received for cancer-related and radiology units, all of which were allotted plots. In the 1,000 sq. metre category, nine plots were allotted: two for radiology, four for anaesthesia, and three for IVD units. Remaining unallotted plots will be included in the next scheme, explained YEIDA OSD Shailendra Bhatia.

YEIDA has previously allotted 89 plots in the MDP and is developing the park on a 350-acre site with a Rs 100 crore grant from the central government. The official inauguration of the Medical Device Park is expected in January 2026.
