An Aarti for the Adi Ganga Gomti will be held on Wednesday to mark Kartik Purnima, a festival of ritual bathing and charity. The festival Aarti will be performed in the style of Varanasi on 11 stages at MankameshwarUpvan Ghat. Mahant Devya Giri stated that 250,000 lamps will be lit on the premises with the help of devotees. On the eve of the festival, an Aarti was held at Kudiya Ghat, and the ghat was decorated with 2,100 lamps.
BJP Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi, MLA Dr Neeraj Bora, Riddhi Kishore Gaur, and Dr Vivek Tangri, along with many other devotees, participated in the Aarti, which was organised by the Roti Kapda Foundation, ShubhSanskar Samiti, and Dharm Raksha Manch.
On the eve of Prakash Parv, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism, a Nagar Kirtan procession was organised by Gurdwara Ashiana. Jagpal Singh Vohra, president of Gurdwara Ashiana, said that the procession, which took place in the presence of Chairman JS Chadha and members of the congregation, concluded with a Langar at the gurdwara.
A Langar was organised at Khalsa Chowk in Alambagh by Rajendra Singh Bagga 'Lucky' and the congregation. On Wednesday, for the Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev, there will be a special illumination at the gurdwara. Events will be held in all gurdwaras, including Gurdwara Sadar, Mansarovar, Alambagh, Chandernagar, and Aryanagar.
Manmohan Singh 'Happy', secretary of Gurdwara Yahiyaganj, stated that on Wednesday morning, Guru Nanak Dev's Prakash Parv will be celebrated at the DAV College ground, and in the evening, there will be a special illumination at Gurdwara Yahiyaganj by the gurdwara's president, Dr Gurmeet Singh.

Rajendra Singh Bagga, president of the Lucknow Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, said that Guru Nanak Dev founded Sikhism and was the first Guru of the Sikhs. On the day of Kartik Purnima, there will be special illuminations and a Langar at the gurdwaras.
