Yamuna Expressway Tragedy: Two Engineering Students From Bihar Die In Greater Noida Road Crash

Two students from Galgotias University have died in a road accident near the Yamuna Expressway in the Dankaur area. Aryan and Zikrullah, both from Bihar, were travelling to Greater Noida when their motorcycle collided with a divider, causing them to suffer severe injuries. The police have sent the bodies for a post-mortem examination and have launched an investigation.

In a tragic incident late Friday night, two engineering students from Galgotias University lost their lives in a road accident. The victims, identified as Aryan and Zikrullah, were originally from Bihar and were residing in the Dankaur area while pursuing their studies.

The Incident

The accident occurred on Friday night when the two students were travelling on a motorcycle towards Greater Noida for some work. According to the police, as their vehicle was passing through the underpass of the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, it reportedly crashed into a divider.

Casualties And Police

Action Both students sustained serious injuries in the crash and were rushed for medical aid, but they succumbed to their injuries during treatment.

Station House Officer Munendra Singh stated that the police have conducted an initial investigation, which points to the motorcycle hitting the divider as the cause of the crash.

Procedural Update: An inquest report (panchnama) has been completed, and the bodies have been sent for a post-mortem examination.

Family Notification: The families of both deceased students have been informed about the tragedy.

The police confirmed that the matter is being thoroughly investigated to ascertain further details.
