One person was killed and two others sustained injuries after a pickup vehicle laden with tomatoes skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge on Saturday morning. The accident took place near Chhibrou on the Haripur Koti-Ichhadi motor road.
Incident Details
According to the police, the accident occurred at around 8:00 am. The vehicle was transporting tomatoes to the Vikasnagar Mandi when the driver reportedly lost control, causing the pickup to fall into the gorge.

Rescue Operation
Upon witnessing the accident, villagers from nearby areas rushed to the scene and initiated a rescue operation. They managed to retrieve the victims from the vehicle. One person succumbed to their injuries at the spot, while the two injured individuals were transported to a hospital for treatment.
