Mumbai Auto Driver Viral Video: A late-night ride in Mumbai turned into a frightening experience for two women when an autorickshaw driver allegedly abused and threatened them during the journey. One of the women, Tina Soni, later shared a video of the incident on Instagram, showing the driver shouting at her and her friend on a busy road. In her post, Tina wrote, “What was supposed to be an exciting night turned into a really scary experience." She explained that the incident happened when she and her friend were travelling by autorickshaw from Bandra station to the Jio Convention Centre to attend AP Dhillon’s concert.

According to Tina, the ride started off normally. But things took a sudden turn when the driver asked them to get down from the auto mid-way. She said the driver complained that they were "talking too loudly" and then demanded money immediately, even though they had not reached their destination.

Tina shared that they calmly told the driver they would pay the full fare once they reached the Jio Convention Centre. This response, she claimed, made the driver angry and aggressive. "That’s when his behaviour completely changed. He started abusing us and threatening us, saying he would beat us up and even call other people to harm us," Tina wrote.

"Thankfully, I was safe and nothing happened," she added. Even after the women moved away, Tina claimed the driver came back again and continued threatening them, despite the traffic police being present nearby. Soon after, she said, he fled the spot.

The video shared online captures the driver yelling aggressively. One of the women can be heard asking him, "Hum baat kar rahe the, aapko kya problem ho rahi thi?" The driver is then heard demanding money and hurling abuses. Before driving away, he allegedly shouted, "Marunga bahot, patak patak ke marunga."

What shocked many viewers was that the incident happened on a busy road, yet no one stepped in to help. The video has since sparked strong reactions online, with many users expressing concern over women’s safety during late-night travel in the city.

"Why are you girls talking so respectfully nikalti chapal de marti takle pe," a user wrote. "Love the way Mumbai people are protecting our beloved city’s name. These outsiders will always remain outsiders for us. Our Mumbai and its every corner is safe for everyone," a second user wrote.
