Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan are busy promoting their upcoming romantic comedy, Loveyapa, which is set to hit theatres on February 7, 2025. During a recent interaction, Khushi shared an interesting anecdote about her childhood and her parents’ concerns regarding her travel choices.

In a fun conversation with Bharti Singh and Harssh Limbachiyaa on their YouTube channel, Khushi was asked if she had ever taken an auto ride. With a smile, she admitted, "Haan, par building ke andar hi" (Yes, but only inside the building). She revealed that her parents, filmmaker Boney Kapoor and the late legendary actress Sridevi, were not in favour of her travelling in an auto. Due to this, she would only take short auto rides within the house campus.

However, Khushi shared that she has taken autos for practical reasons, especially when travelling to Madh Island for shoots. Explaining her parents’ concerns, she said, "Actually, I was not allowed to take an auto. My parents were against it. So I used to take autos within the campus."

Junaid Khan, sitting beside her, chimed in about his own experience with auto rides. Unlike Khushi, he prefers them as a convenient option over luxury cars. He explained that in a bustling city like Mumbai, where traffic congestion and parking issues are common, autos make commuting much easier.

Junaid also recalled a humorous incident when he was once recognized during an auto ride. He was travelling from Andheri to Bandra for a rehearsal when he happened to stop at a red signal next to his father, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan. Unaware at first, Junaid was engrossed in his phone until his father rolled down the window to greet him.

After exchanging greetings, the signal turned green and both vehicles moved ahead. The auto driver, curious about the encounter, asked if Junaid knew the man in the car. Junaid wittily responded, "Yes, we live in the same area. His mother and my grandmother are both from Banaras."

Directed by Advait Chandan, Loveyapa will be released in theatres on February 7.
