Iran War 2026: Amid the ongoing war with Iran, US President Donald Trump has slammed the NATO countries for not supporting the American navy in clearing the Strait of Hormuz. In a post on Truth Social, the US president asserted that while these nations complained about the rising oil prices, they did not join the fight against Tehran. While calling the NATO nations "coward", Trump asserted that these nations are only "paper tiger" without the US' support.

In his post, Trump reiterated that the NATO nations were not willing to take "little risk" in the region, leading to the surge in prices. "Now that fight is Militarily WON, with very little danger for them, they complain about the high oil prices they are forced to pay, but don’t want to help open ‌the Strait of Hormuz, a simple military maneuver that is the single reason for the high oil prices. So easy for them to do, with so little risk," the US president said in his post. "COWARDS, and we will REMEMBER!" he added.
