Epstein Files: A freshly released document by the US Justice Department has given birth to a new conspiracy theory on social media about the death of convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The document discovered in the DOJ's database was labelled EFTA00133623 and made public as part of the freshly released files in the case.

A conspiracy theory doing the rounds on the internet claimed that Epstein faked his death, as social media used a paragraph written in a file labelled as EFTA00133623. Several conspiracy theories are currently doing the rounds on social media after an increased interest in the Epstein files case.

Social media has long speculated that the deceased's body, recovered after Epstein was found hanging in his jail cell in 2019, might not have been his. One user wrote, “POV: you are reading Epstein files thinking he is dead and suddenly EFTA00133623 came."

What Is In The Document EFTA00133623

The handwritten notes in the document were surrendered only after a subpoena was issued; they seem to be a comment from a 4chan post. "Not saying anything after this pls do not try to dox me but last night after 0415 count they took him medical in a wheelchair front cuffed but not 1 triage nurse says they spoke to him. Next thing we know a trip van shows up? We do not do releases on the weekends unless a judge orders it. Next thing we know, heS#039;s put in a single man cell and hangs himself? Heres the thing, the trip van did NOT sign in and we did not record the plate number and a guy in a green dress military outfit was in the back of the van according to the tower guy who let him thru the gate. You guys i am shaking right now but i think they switched him out," the document reads.

Epstein's Viral Photo

Amid the speculation over his death, citing the file EFTA00133623, a photo is going viral on social media claiming that he is still. The photo shows a man wearing black sunglasses and sporting long hair, who is claimed to be Epstein.

One person sharing the photo wrote, “This is the full picture of Epstein. He is in Israel."

“Ok. I don’t normally fold over with these types of photos but bro, either I’m too consumed and everything is looking like pedo Epstein or that actually is him…. The guy standing next to him with an earpiece in. Am I going mad?,” another person who shared the post on Reddit wrote.

Amid the rumours on X, some users pointed the image has been manipulated or generated by AI. According to a social media user, the image contains a synth ID, and an uncropped  Google Gemini watermark. However, no official confirmation has been made so far.
