The 2026 Campaign

Ahead of the polls, in his vision statement, Singh said, “I learned that our diversity isn't just a number—it's our strength. It’s the intricate fabric of Gwinnett, a complex and colourful design where every stitch matters….But I also know that for a tapestry to stay strong, every thread must be secure. I’ve seen the gaps where families fall through—where healthcare is a luxury and housing costs threaten the very roots people have worked so hard to plant.”
His Victory Is Historic
Singh’s victory is a historic breakthrough and is widely celebrated by Indian American Impact and other community organizations. His victory also highlighted the growing presence of Indian representation in the US state legislatures.
After the win, Sign posted, “We won!!! Thank you Georgia! I’m honoured to be your representative-elect in HD-97” on X. Singh emphasized that the Sikh traditions to fight against tyranny, oppression, and injustice to uplift communities will serve as the foundation for his legislative work.
