Aarey Metro FOB Update: A foot over the bridge built for the convenience of metro passengers at the Aarey metro station of the Mumbai metro network still awaits safety clearance from the authority, even after completion. The commuters using the Aarey metro station in Gorgaon are forced to do unnecessary hustle as the foot over bridge built to alleviate the struggle of the existing long route stands ready and waiting for safety clearance for two months.

The newly built bridge, aimed to give direct access to passengers across the busy Western Express Highway remains locked and unused. According to several media reports, passengers are forced to walk 50 metres along the busy road and then take an older pedestrian bridge, maintained by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
