In a deeply disturbing incident from Maharashtra’s Amravati, a 15-year-old student of Class 10 allegedly died by suicide after being scolded in front of his classmates by a teacher. The student, who studied at Jai Bajrang Vidyalaya, left behind a suicide note in which he directly named the teacher and expressed pain over being humiliated and threatened that his parents would be informed about his academic performance.

According to reports, the teenager was unable to answer questions asked by the teacher during class. In response, the teacher allegedly reprimanded him in front of his peers and warned that his parents would be told he wasn’t studying seriously. The student, feeling ashamed and emotionally distressed by the episode, reportedly hanged himself later that day. His suicide note read, “I am hanging myself,” and blamed the teacher for causing him emotional trauma.

Following the boy’s death, anger gripped the local community. Reports say that neighbours assaulted the teacher, who is now hospitalised. A case has been registered against the teacher, and police have launched an investigation into the matter.
