The police on Wednesday said at least three workers have been killed after a steel storage unit for pulses fell on them at mill in Maharashtra's Yavatmal district.
The mill is located in the MIDC area of Lohara, near Yavatmal city. The incident happened on Tuesday evening when the steel storage unit collapsed on them. The company staff took the two labourers, who were injured to a government hospital soon after the incident. The victims were working in the unit when the storage structure fell on them. They were trapped underneath the collapsed structure.
According to the media reports, the deceased have been identified as Mukesh Suresh Kajle and Suresh Kajle who were residents of Khandwa and Rampur Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh, while the third deceased worker was from Wardha district.
