Maharashtra Weather: Cloudy skies and mild to moderate rain are expected in a number of areas, including the Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, and Marathwada, since the monsoon has just arrived in the state. Isolated regions of Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri are expected to see heavy rains.
On June 4, the Meteorological Department forecasts moderate rain in Mumbai and the nearby districts of Thane, Palghar, and Raigad, as well as heavy rain in certain portions of Sindhudurg.
Coastal warnings have been issued owing to large waves of 3-4 metres. Following the Konkan, mild to moderate rain is expected in Pune, Satara, Sangli, and Kolhapur, particularly on the Ghats.
Light thundershowers may occur in isolated areas of Marathwada, with overcast skies. Rain or drizzle may fall in Vidarbha, Nagpur, Amravati, Wardha, and Chandrapur.
Mumbai Weather
The month of June has brought with it overcast sky, rain, and warm temperatures. Today, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts cloudy skies with a little drizzle or rain. There have been mild showers throughout the day and severe rains in a few areas of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai in the morning.
The temperature is 28 degrees Celsius at 9 AM on Tuesday, June 4, with a 76% humidity level, a 25% possibility of rain, and wind speeds of 19 KMPH. As a result, the day will be moderate, windy, and gloomy with the possibility of light rain that may intensify throughout the day.
