Maharashtra Weather Update:  A yellow alert for heavy rainfall has been issued for several areas in Mumbai. Light showers have started in Dadar, Sion, Kurla and Chembur, and heavy rain is expected in the afternoon and evening. Due to heavy rain, local services might be affected as there is a chance of waterlogging in these areas. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy skies throughout the day.

Thane District Weather Alert

Heavy rainfall has started in several districts of Thane, including Thane City, Dombivli, Bhiwandi, and Murbad. There are chances of waterlogging on roads due to a heavy spell of rainfall.

Palghar District Weather Alert

Moderate to heavy rainfall has occurred in several districts of Palghar, including Dahanu, Boisar, Talasari, Vasai-Virar and Jawhar. Fishing and boating have been banned in several areas amid a heavy rainfall alert due to increased wind speed.

Navi Mumbai Weather Alert

Several districts of Navi Mumbai, including Vashi, Nerul, and Panvel, have been covered with cloudy skies since morning, and heavy rain is expected during the day. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall alert with chances of lightning in the afternoon. The maximum temperature in these areas is expected to be around 29-30 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be around 27-28 degrees Celsius.

Ratnagiri, Mahad, Chiplun, Khed, Devgad, Malvan, Vengurla, and Sawantwadi areas have witnessed heavy rainfall since morning. The weather department has predicted cloudy skies with the possibility of heavy rainfall throughout the day in these areas. The intensity of rainfall is likely to increase in the afternoon and evening.
