While carrying a physical voter slip is not mandatory, knowing your polling booth in advance is essential for a smooth experience. It ensures that you reach the correct polling booth and also reduces waiting time, especially during peak hours.

How To Find Polling Booth Online By EPIC Number?

With voting for 29 municipal corporations across Maharashtra, including the high-profile Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), set for January 15, here is a step-by-step guide to find your polling booth online using your EPIC number or Voter ID.

Step 1: Visit the official Maharashtra State Election Commission (SEC) voter list website at mahasecvoterlist.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Voter Search’ option. This will redirect you to the SEC’s dedicated database.

Step 3: Choose the Search Method and then click on "EPIC Number Wise" or "Name Wise" search.

Step 4: Select your Local Body (example Municipal Corporation), your District, and the specific Local Body Name (example Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation). Then, enter your EPIC number or full name and click "Search."

Step 5: Your voter record will appear on the screen. Take a screenshot or a printout of the necessary information, such as polling booth name, full address and voter slip information, to speed up the process at the polling booth.

Know Your Polling Booth Via Voter Helpline App

- Alternatively, voters can check their polling booth details through the Voter Helpline App, which is available for download on both Android and iOS via eci.gov.in/voter-helpline-app.
