Mumbai Metro Line 3 Update: The Aqua Line of the Mumbai Metro is set to run extended train services on Sunday, January 18, to ensure that all the participants of the Mumbai Tata Marathon reach the starting point without any difficulty.

The first metro will depart from Aarey JVLR towards Cuffe Parade at 3:30 am, while the second metro will depart in the same direction will depart at 4:30 am. From Cuffe Parade, the first metro will depart at 3:30 am, while the second metro will depart at 4:50 am. Normal metro services will start from 5:50 am.

Can You Still Register For The Tata Mumbai Marathon?

You cannot register for the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) 2026 as the general registration ended in late November 2025. However, you can still participate in charity runs organised by the United Way Mumbai (UWM) for certain categories, such as the Marathon or the Half Marathon. 

Olympic champion sprinter Andre De Grasse is the ambassador for the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) for the upcoming 2026 edition.

Tata Marathon 2026: Timings

  • Full marathon: 5:00 am to 12:30 pm

  • Half marathon: 5:00 am to 12:30 pm

  • 10k marathon: 6:00 am to 8:00 am

Tata Full Marathon

The full marathon of the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 will start from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, with runners covering a total distance of 42.195 kilometres before finishing at Mumbai Gymkhana on MG Road. The race will take participants through South Mumbai, the Coastal Road, the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, central Mumbai and back, offering a demanding yet scenic city loop.

Tata Half Marathon

The Tata half-marathon will start from the Mahim Causeway (opposite the Mahim Bus Depot) to the OCS Chowki. The runners will be covering a distance of 21.097 kilometres. The Open 10K Marathon will start at 6 am from CSMT and end at Metro Theatre, MG Road.
