Mumbai plans ropeway

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) is working on a proposal to introduce a ropeway system soon, connecting Aarey Metro Station on Metro Line 3 with the well-known Film City in Goregaon.

It is also looking at the possibility of extending the route up to Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP). The idea behind the move is to improve access to the busy area, which attracts both tourists and workers, and so faces highly congested traffic.
