- IndiGo Issues Travel Advisories for Passengers

IndiGo issued a statement saying, "While we want your journey to be as hassle-free as possible, Mother Nature has her own plans. With heavy rains and thunderstorms expected again in #Pune, there’s a chance this could lead to air traffic congestion and impact flight operations. While we continue doing our best to keep operations smooth, we recommend planning ahead. Any changes to your flight schedule will be shared via your registered contact details, so do ensure they’re up to date. Check your flight status on our website or app before heading to the airport. And with waterlogging and slow-moving traffic likely, allow some extra time for your commute. Stay safe on the roads, and travel prepared."

- Schools Closed in Beed District

In response to the relentless downpour, schools for Classes 1 to 7 in Beed district will remain closed on September 16. Authorities said the decision was taken to ensure the safety of children as heavy rainfall and flooding have made commuting unsafe. Officials will continue monitoring the situation and provide updates if necessary.

- Train Services and Traffic Affected

Heavy rain on Sunday night and Monday morning led to waterlogging on railway tracks at Kurla on the Central line and Bandra on the Western line. Despite this, Western Railway clarified that, “continuous rainfall since last night, Western Railway’s local trains over Mumbai Suburban Section are running normally.”

- Road traffic, however, was hit hard. Mumbai Traffic Police announced the closure of Andheri Subway in the early hours of Monday due to water accumulation up to 1–1.5 feet, causing major delays and diversions.
