BMC Election Voter List 2026: Elections for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and 28 other municipal corporations are currently going on in Maharashtra. The polling will be completed in a single phase today, while the results will be declared tomorrow, January 16. 

With over a crore eligible voters expected to turn out to exercise their right, the State Election Commission of Maharashtra urged the citizens to check their names in the final voter list before heading out to vote to avoid any last-minute inconvenience. 

Mumbai Voter List Search: How To Check Your Name, Voting Booth And Location?

Check the following steps if you want to verify your name on the official website:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of the Maharashtra State Election Commission (SEC) Voter List Portal mahasecvoterlist.in, and search your name by entering your full name or your EPIC number.

  • Step 2: Visit the National Voters Service Portal by visiting the voters.eci.gov.in and click on the "Search in Electoral Roll" option. Enter your EPIC number and check your name on the voter list. 

  • Step 3: You can also check your details from the mobile application of the Election Commission of India, which is available on both the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. 

  • Step 4: You can also check your details through the dedicated voter helpline number.

Mumbai Voter List Search: Check These Details

Once you have confirmed your name on the final voter list, cross-check these important details to avoid inconvenience on the day of voting: 

  • Name, age and other details

  • Serial number

  • Ward number

  • Specific Polling Station

Take a screenshot of the details or take a printout of the voter slip to speed up the process at the polling booth.

BMC Election Voter List 2026: Check Required Documents During Polling

Once your name is confirmed on the final electoral roll, you must carry one of the following documents while you go out to vote: 

  • Voter ID Card (EPIC)

  • Aadhaar Card

  • PAN Card

  • Indian Passport

  • Driving Licence

  • Bank or Post Office Passbook (with photograph)

  • Pension Document (with photograph)

  • Service Identity Card (issued to State/Central Government, PSU, or Public Limited Company employees)

  • MGNREGA Job Card

  • Health Insurance Smart Card (issued by the Ministry of Labour)

  • Smart Card (issued by RGI under the National Population Register)

  • Official Identity Cards (issued to MPs, MLAs, or MLCs)

  • Disability Certificate

BMC Election 2026: Polling Will Go On Till When?

Polling for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and 28 other municipal corporations across Maharashtra started at 7:30 am and will conclude at 5:30 pm.
