Mumbai Tide Update: Mumbai continues to witness heavy rainfall as the monsoon has officially arrived in the city weeks ago. Residents have to navigate with consequences of heavy rainfall in the form of traffic snarls, road blocks and flood-like conditions on streets. Mumbai often experience an unpredictable monsoon season; residents can expect a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain on 29 June 2025, according to the latest forecast.

The India Meteorological Department has warned against isolated rainfall in some parts of the city and suburban areas, urging residents to avoid coastal areas.

The city is expected to be shrouded in thick cloud cover throughout the day, with short yet moderate spells of rain. While this may offer some respite from the summer heat, isolated areas may experience heavy downpours, potentially leading to waterlogging and traffic disruptions in low-lying regions.

Along with the rainfall during monsoon, tides also play a crucial role in the daily life of residents during this weather, as it has the potential to disrupt day-to-day happenings, creating hindrance. Here’s the schedule of tides issued by the weather department. 

29 June 2025 (Today)

High Tide: 3:08 PM – 4.49 metres

Low Tide: 9:18 PM – 1.48 metres

30 June 2025 (Tomorrow)

High Tide: 3:00 AM – 3.74 metres

Low Tide: 8:43 AM – 1.26 metres

Fisherfolk and those living near the shore are advised to take precautions, especially during high tide hours
