Mumbai-Pune Trains Cancelled: Railway commuters travelling between Mumbai and Pune are expected to face disruption as several trains on the route will remain cancelled or rescheduled due to the expansion work at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal (CSMT) platforms 10 and 11.
The platform maintenance work, which is set to commence from May 22 to June 2, will result in the cancellation of many trains operating between Pune and Mumbai. The last destination of some trains will be changed to Dadar to accommodate the construction project.
Mumbai-Pune Trains Cancelled-Full List
Pune-Mumbai-Pune Pragati Express, will be cancelled from May 28 to June 2.
Pune Mumbai Intercity Express will also be cancelled from May 31 to June 2 .
Pune-Mumbai-Pune Deccan Express will be cancelled on June 1 and 2 due to maintenance work.
Kurla-Margaon-Kurla will remain suspended on May 1 and 2.
Mumbai Local Mid-Night Block
Meanwhile, railway services between Byculla and CSMT, as well as several other local Mumbai stations, were affected on May 22 due to a 15-day-long midnight block up to May for pre non-interlocking works. On May 22, suburban train services were shut between Byculla and CSMT from 12 am to 04.30 am, with trains short-terminated and short originated at Panvel and Dadar stations.

Summer Special Train
To ease the pressure on existing summer running trains, the Central Railways has announced sixteen additional weekly summer special train services between Mumbai and Karimnagar. These trains will operate on a weekly basis, providing much-needed relief to passengers during the peak travel season.
