Two boys from Maharashtra's Nagpur fled their homes to become rich by selling tea in Mumbai. However, they returned home and were reunited with their parents, police said on Saturday. The duo boarded the Vidarbha Express on Wednesday, according to an Umred police station official, and headed for the city.
Following their employment at a tea stall, the pair realised they would not be able to make more than Rs 100 per day with the Re 1 commission per cup sold, according to the official.
“The two are 12 years old and hail from Umred here. They claimed to have been inspired by the stories of self-made entrepreneurs on YouTube and other social media platforms. We had registered a kidnapping case on the complaint of their parents after the two went missing,” he said.
According to the official, one of them was located in Umred on Friday, while the other was located near a private bus that was traveling to Nagpur.

The Central Railway is going to launch girders for the FOB between Asangaon and Atgaon, as well as girders on the bridge connecting Khadavli and Vasind stations soon after midnight.
Additionally, girders will be installed for FOB between Ambivali and Shahad stations, according to an official.
The suburban local train for Kasara will be terminated at Thane, which leaves CSMT at 12:15 AM on Sunday. Ten other long-distance trains will be regulated because of the night blocks, and six Mail and Express trains will also be rescheduled, the official continued.
