Nagpur Police carried out a flag march in the Mahal market area following the lifting of a six-day curfew across the city on Sunday. Police Commissioner Ravinder Singal strongly cautioned against the improper use of social media, advising people to resist posting stuff related to the recent violence.
"Things are normal here. There is no issue right now, and life is normal everywhere. So far, 13 FIRs have been filed, more than 115 people are in custody, and further action is ongoing," Singal said while speaking to ANI.

As many as 71 individuals, who suffered property damage due to riots, will receive compensation directly in their bank accounts within the next 48 hours.
Within eight days of the incident, the government is going to provide financial assistance to the people whose vehicles and property were damaged. Immediately after the incident, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Nagpur's Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule instructed the district collector to expedite the process of providing relief to the affected individuals.
According to the Nagpur Collector's office, Fadnavis issued instructions on Saturday to complete the distribution of compensation within the next 48 hours.
"According to our records, 71 individuals are eligible to receive compensation. Our office is ready with the details of the eligible beneficiaries, including their bank account information. The amount will be credited to their accounts by Tuesday evening," the DC said.
Notably, the violence occurred in Nagpur after Hindu groups held an agitation seeking the removal of Aurangzeb's tomb from Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. The rumours, that a sacred cloth inscribed with Ayat was burnt, triggered the unrest in the area.
In a press conference on Saturday, Fadnavis mentioned that the cost of the damaged property during the Nagpur violence would be recovered from the rioters. "If payment is not made, the property of those involved in the violence will be seized and sold," he said.
