During her interrogation, the woman revealed information about the manufacturing factory in Telangana and the gang’s inter-state operations. The woman was caught red-handed with 105 grams of MD.

From the preliminary investigations, most of the drugs that were manufactured in the factory were supplied to Mumbai through local criminals and agents. The drug manufacturing had been going on for many years in the factory under the guise of manufacturing chemicals, the probe revealed.

According to a report by NDTV, around 35,000 litres of chemicals used in making drugs were also found during raids. The joint team of Mira-Bhayandar and Vasai Virar was keeping a watch on drug peddlers for over a month. After gathering significant information, the joint team raided around 60 locations related to the drug syndicate. Further probe into the gang's international links is underway.
