Pune Dog Attack: In a distressing incident in Pune’s Chakan area, a child was attacked by a group of stray dogs. The CCTV footage, which has recently surfaced, shows the child being surrounded and attacked by seven to eight dogs while playing on a road near Yash Park in Kadachiwadi.

The attack occurred on September 8 at 10:15 AM. Hearing the child’s screams, relatives and nearby residents rushed to his aid and managed to rescue him. The boy sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.

In a separate incident in Pimpri Chinchwad, Man identified as Balu Vitthal Salve killed his friend Ali Ansari, suspecting him of an immoral relationship with his wife. The murder took place near Dhangarbaba Temple on the Kalewadi Phata to Tapkir Chowk road in Wakad. Balu, who worked as a painter like Ali, attacked him with a cement block. After the attack, Balu fled the scene and returned to his village in Beed District.

The police were alerted when they found Ali’s body in a pool of blood. Upon investigating, they identified the victim as Ali Ansari and quickly gathered evidence from the crime scene and CCTV footage. This led them to Balu Salve as the prime suspect. Within 12 hours, the police used technical and intelligence resources to trace Balu to his village in Beed, where he was arrested. A murder case has been registered at the Wakad Police Station. The police are continuing their investigation into the case.
