Veervar Ke Upay:  In Hinduism, each day has been dedicated to a particular god. Lord Vishnu and Lord Brihaspati (Planet Jupiter) are revered on Thursday or Veervar.  As a day devoted to the Guru of the Devas, Thursday is also referred to as Guruvar. Yellow is thought to be the day's predominant colour. On this day, certain devotees observe a strict fast. 

Jupiter (Brihaspati) must be in a favorable position in each native's birth chart. Jupiter improves intelligence when it is in a favourable position in a person's horoscope, provides contentment, occasionally opens up prospects for marriage, and showers good luck. On the flip side, if Jupiter is weak in a person's horoscope, it could delay their marriage, make it difficult for them to have children, and cause issues in other aspects of their life. However, certain astrological remedies can also be followed to attract luck and positivity on Thursday.

Thursday Remedies To Attract Luck & Wealth 

- Donate Books: By contributing enlightening books published by scholars on Thursday, the detrimental impacts of Brihaspati/Jupiter can be prevented. 

- Bathe With Turmeric Water & Apply Saffron Tilak:  If you want to get rid of Guru Dosha then you must bathe after adding a pinch of turmeric in the water. You can also observe a fast if you want to. Additionally, recite the mantra "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya" while taking a bath and put a saffron Tilak on your forehead afterward.

- Worship Banana Tree:  Keep the Guruwar Vrat on Thursday, and if you can, worship a banana plant by offering water. This will eradicate all the challenges towards marriage. 

- Chant Vishnu Sahastranam Stotram:  As Thursday is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it is considered very auspicious to worship him on this day. You must recite the Vishnu Sahastranam Stotram after taking a bath in the morning to seek the choicest blessings of Shri Hari. 

- Do Not Lend Money & Avoid Making Hefty Transactions:  To elevate the Guru's position in the horoscope on Thursday, you must not lend money to anyone. You must also refrain from making big transactions as it may cause Brihaspati to put you in a financial crisis. 

- Observe A Fast:  Observing a fast on Sunday is considered extremely auspicious. After taking a bath in the morning, you must dress in Yellow apparel. Visit a nearby Lord Vishnu temple and offer offerings of turmeric, yellow sweets, and flowers to the deity. You must also worship a banana tree during this fast. Light a gree diya in front of the tree and recite the Veervar Vrat Katha while sitting in front of it. After doing arti in the evening, refrain from using salt and consume only yellow sattvik eatables. 

Thursday Mantras To Attract Luck And Wealth 

To counteract Lord Jupiter's negative effects and obtain his blessings, one can chant these following mantras on Thursday:

ॐ क्लीं बृहस्पतये नम:। / oṃ klīṃ bṛhaspataye namah
