Staying efficient and organised is essential in today's hectic world, where time seems to be slipping through our fingers like sand. A calendar is one effective tool that might assist you in doing this. Like wall clocks and other goods, calendar placement is governed by guidelines according to Vastu Shastra to increase positivity.
Where Should You NOT Place A Calendar?
- Behind The Door: Don't put a calendar behind the door. Furthermore, the calendar should not be positioned next to a home's main entrance as it may impede family members' growth.
- South Direction: The south is considered inauspicious, so avoid keeping your calendar facing that direction. It may also have an impact on family members' health.
- Window: The calendar should not be kept near a window or another area where it might be blown away.

Ideal Direction To Position A Calendar
The northeast or east are the best directions to put a calendar on a wall or desk. Given that it is the direction of flow, the west is another suitable orientation for a calendar. Additionally, you can put the calendar facing north, the direction ruled by Kuber, the ruler of riches. It is said that keeping a calendar facing either north or west can draw wealth and increase the flow of money into the home.
Always Discard The Old Calendar
Do not keep the old calendar up on the wall once the new year begins. According to Vastu, using an outdated calendar is inauspicious. It might make you feel exhausted or worn out and sap your vitality. Additionally, maintaining an outdated calendar may harm the residents' health. Getting rid of the old calendar and getting a new one is symbolic of moving on from the past and into the future.
