Significance Of Rama Ekadashi in Kartik Month
Rama Ekadashi holds immense spiritual significance. This sacred Ekadashi got its name from Goddess Lakshmi, who is also known as Rama, the divine consort of Lord Vishnu.
According to the Brahma Vaivarta Purana, observing the Rama Ekadashi fast absolves sins, removes karmic burdens and brings prosperity, peace, and spiritual growth. It is also believed that observing a fast on this day has merits as much as performing 100 Rajasuya Yagyas or 1000 Ashvamedha Yagyas.
