It is believed that women who observe this fast with devotion will enjoy love, happiness, and prosperity in their married lives.

Saubhagya Sundari Teej 2025: Vrat Katha
According to the sacred Hindu legends, when Devi Sati's father Daksha insulted Lord Shiva who was her husband, she plunged herself into the fire, but as she departed, she told her father that she would be Lord Shiva's better half in her next life. It is believed that her next birth was as Parvati, and through rigorous penance and fasting, she finally obtained Lord Shiva as her husband. It is believed that this is the tradition of fasting for a desired life partner and eternal marital bliss began with the Saubhagya Sundari Teej vrat.

Saubhagya Sundari Teej 2025: Puja Vidhi
Below are the steps to perform the Saubhagya Sundari Teej Puja Vidhi:
- Wake up early in the morning, take a bath, and wear clean clothes.
- Install an idol or picture of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati at the place of worship.
- To begin the puja rituals, worship Lord Ganesha, then worship Shiva and Parvati.
- Offer shringar items such as bindi, bangles, sindoor, mehendi, kajal, etc. to Devi Parvati. Additionally, offer roli, mauli, akshat and paan leaves, and supari to the goddess.
- Perform abhishekam of Lord Shiva with water, milk, curd, and honey and offer Bel Patra.
- Read or listen to Saubhagya Sundari Teej Vrat Katha and perform aarti to culminate the puja.
- After performing the puja, feed a Brahmin and donate to the needy as it is considered highly auspicious.
