Shani Trayodashi May 2025: Puja Vidhi
The Shani Trayodashi rituals begin early in the morning and conclude with the evening Pradosh Puja. People usually get up before sunrise, take a bath, and put on fresh clothes. They also clean their homes, particularly the puja room, to make it a welcoming space for worship and to attract positive vibes and blessings.
An altar is set up with images or idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, as well as Lord Shani on occasion. People light diyas, bring fresh flowers, sweets and fruits and pray while facing northeast. The Pradosh Puja takes place at twilight in the evening, which is regarded as a suitable time for worship and meditation.
