Surya Grahan 2024: Annular Solar Eclipse Duration As Per IST

The Annular Solar Eclipse is expected to begin around 9:12 PM on 2nd October 2024 and end around 3:17 AM on 3rd October 2024. However, as the eclipse is taking place during the night hours as per the IST, the Surya Grahan will not be visible in India.

Although the Sutak period is not applicable in India due to the eclipse's non-visibility, individuals can still recite sacred mantras during the eclipse duration as a precautionary measure to counteract its potentially adverse consequences.
