The first solar eclipse will occur on 29 March 2025, in the Meen Rashi (Pisces) and Uttar Bhadrapad Nakshatra. During this time, the Sun, Rahu, Venus, Mercury and Moon will all be positioned in the Pisces zodiac sign, amplifying the eclipse's impact. Surya Grahan March 2025: Solar Eclipse Date And Time
The first solar eclipse of 2025 will occur on 29 March 2025 on the day of Chaitra Amavasya but it will not be visible in India. According to Indian Standard Time, the eclipse will begin at 2:21 PM and end at 6:14 PM. This will be a partial solar eclipse.
The partial solar eclipse will be visible in various countries, including Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America and parts of the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans. Some specific countries where the eclipse will be visible include Barbados, Belgium, Northern Brazil, Bermuda, Finland, Italy, France, Germany, Greenland, Holland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Northern Russia, Spain, Morocco, Ukraine, Eastern North America and England.
Surya Grahan March 2025: Will Sutak Be In Effect For Partial Solar Eclipse In India?
This eclipse will not be visible in India, so it will not have any religious impact or Sutak period observed in the country.

Surya Grahan March 2025: Astrological Events During Partial Solar Eclipse
Five planets - including the Sun, Rahu, Venus, Mercury and Moon will be present in the Pisces zodiac sign or Meen Rashi on the day of the Solar Eclipse or Surya Grahan. This alignment will have a profound impact on the zodiac signs. Saturn will be in the 12th house, while Jupiter will be in the 3rd house in the Taurus zodiac sign, Mars in the 4th house in Gemini and Ketu in the 7th house in Virgo.
