India's Sarabjot Singh and Divya TS secured a silver medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event at the Asian Games. The Indian pair displayed a strong performance in the qualification round, with Sarabjot scoring 291 and Divya scoring 286, resulting in a combined score of 577. This score placed them ahead of their Chinese counterparts, who scored 576 in the qualification round.

However, the finals saw a closely contested battle, with the Chinese shooters, Zhang Bowen and Jiang Ranxin, ultimately emerging victorious in a shoot-off for the gold medal. The final score ended 16-14 in favor of the Chinese team, reversing their earlier position and securing the gold medal. Despite the narrow defeat, India's impressive showing in shooting at the Asian Games continues, with a total of 19 medals, including 6 gold, 8 silver, and 5 bronze medals.

India's impressive medal haul at the Hangzhou Asian Games continues to grow, with a total of 34 medals in the competition. The latest additions include a silver medal by Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar in the men's 50m rifle 3 positions individual final, where he secured second place with a total of 459.7 points. China's Linshu Du claimed the gold medal with a new Asian Games record of 460.6 points, while China's Jiaming Tian won the bronze with 448.3 points.

Additionally, in the 10m air pistol women's individual final, 17-year-old Palak clinched the gold medal with an individual score of 242.1 points, setting a new Asian Games record in her category. Her teammate, 18-year-old Esha Singh, secured the silver medal with 239.7 points, marking her fourth medal of the games.

Earlier, the men's trio of Swapnil Kusal, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, and Akhil Sheoran had won a gold medal in the 50m rifle men's 3P event.
