Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal has reportedly made a sensational and record-breaking bid of USD 332 million for French star footballer Kylian Mbappe who is expected to leave Paris Saint Germain this summer.

The news of this world-record bid has come amidst all the speculations regarding PSG's forward who is entering the final year of his contract with the Ligue 1 giants.

Mbappe has been at the top of the headlines for the past few weeks, especially after PSG reportedly decided to put the prolific goalscorer in the market.

While Mbappe is looking to leave the club in 2024 as a free agent, PSG are keen to either extend his contract or sell him to the highest bidder in the current transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain have given Saudi club Al Hilal permission to speak to Kylian Mbappe after tabling a world record 300-million-euro ($333 million) bid, a source was quoted by AFP as saying.

However, such a sensational signing will only be made after the agreement of the 24-year-old who has never expressed any interest in a move to Saudi.

It's been a while since the forward has been linked with a dream move to Real Madrid with both the parties having already put up their opinions regarding each other.

It looks like the saga surrounding Mbappe's future is set to be one of the most exciting stories of this summer's transfer window.

As per reports, Laliga champions Barcelona are also set to meet with officials from PSG to discuss the possible transfer of Mbappe, with the club willing to put the names of several players on the table as they do not have the money to sign him in an outright cash deal.

Meanwhile, a move to Barca for Mbappe also looks unlikely considering the current economic situation of the Spanish club.

A few days ago, PSG decided to leave Mbappe out of their squad for a pre-season tour of Japan and South Korea, casting further doubt on the forward's future at the French champions.
