Lamine Yamal is all set to return to action for Barcelona after recovering from injury issue. He is ready to play a week before the first clasico of the season as confirmed by manager Hansi Flick on Sunday.
As Barcelona gear up for their next La Liga match against Girona, Yamal and midfielder Fermin Lopez have made their returns from their respective injuries. "They're back, but they can't yet play the full 90 minutes," Flick said. After Girona, the Catalan giants will host Olympiakos on Tuesday in the Champions League and then visit Real Madrid on Oct. 26 in the Spanish league.

Notably, Yamal had to deal with groin injury for weeks. The 18-year-old star missed four games for Barcelona before he returned for two appearances, only to aggravate the injury in a loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Oct. 1. That ruled him out of a game at Sevilla, which Barcelona lost 4-1. The star winger also missed the two World Cup qualifiers for Spain, which his national team won without him.
On the other hand, Fermin remained out for four matches for the reigning La Liga champions and was ruled out of Spain's qualifiers with a left-leg muscle injury. Flick said he hoped Brazil forward Raphinha will have recovered from a hamstring injury in time for the Madrid match.

Barcelona have been dealing with major issues as the injury list still includes strikers Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres, midfielders Dani Olmo and Gavi Paez and goalkeeper Joan Garcia. Barca will be heading into Girona's match on the back of a disappointing defeat against Sevilla.
Recently, Lamine was placed in the 10th position in the list of highest-paid players in the world, which is being topped by Cristiano Ronaldo. Yamal, who inherited Barcelona's iconic No. 10 shirt once worn by Messi, is the first 18-year-old to enter Forbes' soccer list in its 22-year history.
The youngster helped Barcelona clinch a domestic treble last season and already has been creating impact for Spain every time he takes the field for the European champions.
