Paris Olympics 2024, India's Day 15 Results: As the Paris Olympics drew to a close, India's participation came to an end with a disappointing finale. The remaining Indian athletes competing in the final stages of the Games faced defeats on the penultimate day, marking a lacklustre conclusion to India's campaign at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

With all Indian athletes having completed their events, the country's journey at this edition of the Olympics has officially come to a close.

Wrestling

Reetika Hooda made a strong debut in her Olympic campaign, convincingly defeating Hungary's Bernadett Nagy, the world's 16th-ranked wrestler, with a 12-2 score, showcasing her skills and securing a dominant victory.

However, her next challenge proved to be a tough one, as she faced off against Aiperi Medet Kyzy of Kyrgyzstan, the second-ranked wrestler in the 76kg category and the tournament's top seed, in the quarterfinals.

Despite the fact that the battle ended 1-1, Reetika lost on a countback, while Kyzy advanced to the next round since she scored her point after Reetika did. Unfortunately, Kyzy was defeated by the USA's Kennedy Blades in the semi-finals, therefore the 21-year-old from Haryana will not compete in the repechage for a bronze medal.

Golf

The women's golf competition at the Paris Olympics wrapped up with Aditi Ashok finishing tied for 29th place, carding a total of 290 strokes and a +2 score. Although she bounced back from a disappointing third round and avoided any double bogeys in the final round, Aditi may still be disappointed with her overall performance, especially considering her impressive fourth-place finish at the Tokyo Olympics. Meanwhile, 23-year-old Diksha Dagar struggled in the final round, finishing tied for 49th place with a total of 301 strokes and a +13 score, a tough debut Olympic outing for the young golfer.
