"After yesterday’s post, I thank all of you for your calls and messages. I was in the same team in season 9, and I received a lot of support through my injury back then. Arjun, my younger brother, and I made a lot of plans to take the team forward. However, we were unable to do so due to a particular individual."

"The team has called me undisciplined. I have been a part of the India team. I know very well what the meaning of discipline is. Whatever the allegations are against me, even if it is only 1% true, I can assure you that I will stop playing Kabaddi. I am still standing firm on this. I say that I am right everywhere and I am not wrong anywhere," Pawan Sehrawat continued, wearing the India jersey.

"My message to Tamil Thalaivas is that you play well. Take the team to the top. All the best," the video concludes.

Major setback for Thalaivas

The absence of Pawan Sehrawat will be a major blow for Tamil Thalaivas' ongoing PKL 2025 campaign. Signed for INR 59.5 lakh after his stint with Telugu Titans, he was the marquee player around whom the team hoped to build its season.

Thalaivas will not only miss their captain big time, but the league will also be left without one of the most accomplished raiders in its history. Thalaivas are currently placed seventh in the PKL 2025 points table with two wins and four points after four matches.
