US Open 2024: Ace tennis player Aryna Sabalenka ran into a cute, young fan posting her second-round match against Italy's Lucia Bronzetti on Wednesday. It should be noted here that Sabalenka defeated Bronzetti in straight sets by 6-3, 6-1 to progress to the third round.

Besides her brilliant performance at the Louis Armstrong Stadium, Sabalenka also made a heartwarming gesture for a young fan, who was wearing the same clothes as her. After the match, Sabalenka met this girl, who was also flaunting the same tattoos and both of them got clicked showing off these tattoos.

The young girl also gave a small soft toy tiger to Sabalenka and then the ace tennis player in return gave her a giant tennis ball signed by her and made the girl's day.

Talking about this special moment, Sabalenka said that she saw the young girl on the big screen and was happy to have inspired her.

“It was an adorable moment. I just looked up, and I saw on the big screen a mini-me. It was so cute. It’s such a motivation to keep going to inspire the young generation. That’s the main goal,” Sabalenka told broadcasters in the post-match presentation.

She also admitted that she was inspired by the young fan and that she was hopeful that the girl would play at higher levels soon.

“It means a lot. This is something that keeps me going. To see this young generation inspired by me.. this is what it’s all about. This is such an inspiration for me. Thank you so much. You’re so cute. I hope you’re gonna be at this level soon,” she concluded.

Sabalenka had won the first two matches quite easily and she will now lock horns with the World No.29 Russia's Ekaterina Alexandrova in the third round.
