WORLD Environment Day: Taiwanese laptop maker Acer has launched the latest Acer Aspire Vero laptop in India while keeping the environment on good terms on June 5. The machine is built from recycled materials with 30 per cent PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic in chassis and bezels and 50 per cent in keycaps. Acer has also pledged to plant a tree for each laptop sold today from the official website.

The Green PC has a 14-inch FHD IPS (In-Plane Switching) screen with up to 300 nits of peak brightness and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It weighs 1.5 kg. For multimedia consumption, the machine comes with stereo speakers.

For performance, the notebook offers two CPU configurations - 13th Gen Intel Core i3-1315U and 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1335U with Intel UHD and Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Moving to the memory, the machine sports 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage.

Both variants run on 64-bit Windows 11 Home and come pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home and Student. The device has a 50Wh Lithium Ion battery that supports 65W charging. On top of this, the VeroSense app can help optimise battery backup via Eco, Eco+, Balanced and Performance modes.
As for connectivity, the laptop sports Killer Wireless Wi-Fi 6E 1675i, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm audio jack, HDMI, USB 3.2 ports and a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 4 port. Speaking of extras, it has a 720p HD with Temporal Noise Reduction and a fingerprint reader.

Aspire Vero comes in two colour options - Blue and Gray. The machines can be purchased from Amazon India, Flipkart and Acer's official website and exclusive stores. Additionally, a user can avail of up to Rs 5,000 off on exchange via Acer Exclusive Stores between June 5 and June 9, according to 91Mobiles.
