TAIWANESE laptop maker Acer has launched the Predator Helios Neo 16 gaming laptops in India. The machines come with an Intel 13th gen chip under the hood, 165Hz screen refresh rate and more. If you are looking to buy a premium laptop in the sub-Rs 1-1.5 lakh price category, here is the price and specifications overview of the new laptops.
Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 Specifications
Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 houses a 16-inch WQXGA IPS screen that can refresh at 165Hz, according to reports. It has a peak brightness of up to 500 nits (on the top tier) and a response time of 3ms. Further, the screen comes with Acer ComfyView. Speaking of the chassis, the body of the device is constructed out of aluminium.
Under the hood, the Neo 16 has a 13th Gen Intel core i5-13500HX and i7-13700HX processor trims that bundle 6GB NVIDIA RTX 4050 or 4060 GPU (depending on the configuration) for graphics.
Speaking of memory, the laptop supports up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM and comes with up to 1TB NVMe SSD storage. The machines run on Windows 11 Home. It has "89 custom-made all-metal 3D aero blades and liquid metal thermal grease" to keep the temperatures in control.
A 90Wh four-cell battery is present on the inside to power the internals. The laptop also sports a 4-zone RGB keyboard to enhance the gaming experience. As for connectivity, the machine comes with Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX 1650, Bluetooth 5.3, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, Two Thunderbolt 4 ports, an Ethernet E2600 port and more.
The gaming machine has an HD camera that supports 720p video at 30fps and has Temporal Noise Reduction. Coming of extras, the machine comes with two special function keys - one to open the PredatorSense app and the second to switch between operation modes.
