After the successful unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, Samsung now intends to introduce its first-ever foldable tablet to the global market. This announcement was made by TM Roh, the President and Head of MX Business at Samsung Electronics. Roh revealed that the brand is actively preparing for the launch of a foldable tablet.

When asked about the concept of an Android folding tablet, a space that no other company has entered, Roh stressed the attractiveness of tablets as a versatile product category that lends itself nicely to the foldable format. "Foldables will grow to other categories such as tablet and PC and continue to evolve," Roh said in an interview with The Independent.

Roh elaborated on the reasons for the folding tablet concept, citing the natural human inclination to engage with books and notepads for reading and writing. He emphasised the ease of folding and compacting these devices while not in use, hence protecting precious content.
