Samsung Unpacked 2023: South Korean technology giant at its annual event Galaxy Unpacked 2023, has introduced its latest foldable Galaxy Z Fold 5. The smartphone, as claimed by the company, is much better in performance, display, user interface and other aspects, if compared to its predecessor Galaxy Z Fold 4. The company also introduced the Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Watch 6 series for tech enthusiasts.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Specifications:
The all-new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 comes with a massive 6.2-inch cover and a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a refresh rate panel of 120 Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone gets power from the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and comes paired with up to 12 GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone will run on the Android 13-based OneUI skin out-of-the-box, which is more customised for a smoother interface. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is backed by a 4400mAh battery with a fast charging support of 25 W.
Speaking of the optics, the smartphone is said to get a triple camera setup with a 50 MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation, a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 12 MP telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone is said to get a 10 MP cover front camera and a 4 MP under-display camera.
In terms of connectivity, the Z Fold 5 gets 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, USB Type-C, NFC Chip, Supported GPS Dual Band GPS, AGPS, and GLONASS.
It also gets prominent features like a Capacitive Fingerprint sensor (side), Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, Hall sensor, Proximity sensor, and Light sensor.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 India Price:
The latest foldable Galaxy Z Fold 5 is introduced at a price of $1,799 for the base 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage trim. The Indian price of the smartphone will be unveiled tomorrow at 10 AM.
