AI Impact Summit 2026: As India is poised to lead the global debate on AI, organising the AI Impact Summit 2026 in Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from February 16-20. Over its five days, the conference will convene heads of state, senior ministers and global tech leaders, as well as researchers and startup founders, underscoring India’s role in determining how AI shapes up across the world. With AI revolutionising sectors like health, agriculture, finance and education, the summit is being seen as a historic moment for India’s development-first AI vision.

What to Expect From the Five-Day Summit

The agenda also includes over 700 sessions on AI safety, governance, ethics, data privacy, sovereign AI and the future of work. The other proposals will be shared by the community in seven thematic working groups co-chaired by members from the global north and global south in early 2022: AI Commons, trusted tools and shared compute infrastructure. There will be a focus on the positive impact AI is making in real-world use cases that drive sustainability, economic growth and social inclusion.

Global Tech and Political Leaders

The event will see participation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with French President Emmanuel Macron and Brazilian President Lula da Silva. Technology leaders including Sundar Pichai, Sam Altman, Demis Hassabis, Dario Amodei, and Brad Smith are also expected to attend.
