Amazon revealed an array of smart home devices, smart TVs and e-readers at its September 2025 hardware launch event in Seattle. Products were showcased from its Echo, Fire TV, Kindle, Blink and Ring subsidiaries, as well as Alexa+ and Amazon's upgraded AI voice assistant.

Fire TV Stick 4K Select: Fast and Responsive Streaming

Amazon recently unveiled their Fire TV Stick 4K Select at $39.99 (approximately Rs 4,000). This device supports 4K resolution, HDR10+ colour space and the new Vega operating system to offer faster app launches and smoother performance – soon supporting Xbox Gaming, Luna and Alexa+ too! Pre-orders are open now, with shipping starting later in October.

Next-Gen Fire TV Omni QLED, 2-Series, and 4-Series Smart TVs

The Fire TV Omni QLED Series by Amazon features 60% brighter displays, Dolby Vision support, HDR10+ adaptive support and Omnisense technology, which powers smart functions such as turning on the television when someone enters a room. Prices begin at $479.99 (approx. Rs 43,000) for 50-inch models, with larger sizes up to 75 inches available for purchase.

Amazon also launched their Fire TV 2-Series and 4-Series devices, featuring HD resolution on one model while 4K support is provided on another. Both feature ultra-thin bezels, metal frames, faster quad-core performance, ultra-thin bezels for the 2-Series model and start at $159.99 USD per 2-Series and $329.99 (approx Rs 29,000 USD respectively).

New Echo Devices with AI Edge Chips

Amazon introduced Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio, Echo Show 8, and Echo Show 11, all pre-equipped with Alexa+. The new devices feature custom AZ3 and AZ3 Pro chips with AI acceleration, designed for running AI edge models. Prices start at $99.99 (approx. Rs. 9,000) for Echo Dot Max and $219.99 (approx. Rs. 20,000) for Echo Studio. The Echo Show 8 and 11 are priced at $179.99 (approx. Rs. 16,000) and $219.99 (approx. Rs. 20,000), respectively. The Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio will go on sale from October 29, while the Echo Show 8 and 11 launch on November 12.

Amazon Kindle Scribe (Third Generation) and Colorsoft

Amazon’s new e-readers include the Kindle Scribe (Third Generation) and Kindle Scribe Colorsoft. The front-light Kindle Scribe starts at $499.99 (approx. Rs. 44,400), while the non-front-light model is $429.99 (approx. Rs. 38,200). The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft starts at $629.99 (approx. Rs. 55,900) and offers eye-friendly colour technology for enhanced reading experiences.

Alexa+: Smarter, More Conversational Voice Assistant

Amazon also announced that Alexa+ will roll out across Echo devices, Fire TV Stick, and smart TVs in the US. Alexa+ features generative AI capabilities, offering a more conversational and personalized experience. The service costs $19.99 per month (approx. Rs. 2,000) but is free for Prime members.

New Blink and Ring Security Cameras

Amazon’s subsidiaries introduced several new security devices, including:

- Ring Wired Doorbell Pro ($249.99 / Rs. 22,000), Spotlight Cam Pro ($249.99 / Rs. 22,000), and other models.

- Blink Outdoor 2K+ ($89.99 / Rs. 8,000), Mini 2K+ ($49.99 / Rs. 4,000), and Blink Arc ($99.99 / Rs. 9,000).

All devices are available for pre-order with sales starting later this year.
