Apple may be preparing to surprise us with a drop this week. The company, as per Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, will introduce the new iPad Pro, Vision Pro headset, and 14-inch MacBook Pro quietly, all of which will be driven by the latest M5 chip. Contrary to its tradition of flashy keynotes, Apple will supposedly make these introductions online through brief videos and press releases. Since Monday is a holiday in the US and Canada, the rollout could occur later in the week, so Indian audiences should be able to view the updates any day now.

iPad Pro receives the M5 boost

The new iPad Pro M5 has already appeared in Russia ahead of its official launch, affirming the M5 processor and 12GB of RAM as the norm. The design is pretty much the same, only that Apple has removed the "iPad Pro" branding on the back.

Performance is where things get interesting. Early benchmarks suggest a 12% quicker CPU and up to 36% enhanced graphics compared to the M4 model. Fans had been hoping for a dual front camera system to improve video calls, but leaked models show that feature might not find its way onto the final product.

Vision Pro joins the M5 family

Apple's Vision Pro headset is also receiving an upgrade. Gurman says that it will employ the same M5 chip found in the iPad Pro, which overrules previous rumors family.rumoursof an M4 update. The device will possibly come with a Dual Knit Band for more comfort and a fresh Space Black color. Whether Apple will sell this as a new generation or merely an upgraded performance remains to be seen, particularly as the company has been said to put the lower-cost Vision Air on hold and focus more on smart glasses.

MacBook Pro To Receive Refresh

Completing the triad is the budget 14-inch MacBook Pro, which Gurman reports is "ready for launch" with the M5 chip. Upper-end versions with M5 Pro and M5 Max processors will arrive in 2026. The look won't change for the meantime, with the big changes such as OLED displays, touchscreen capability, thinner bezels, 5G integration, and the M6 chip on the way.

What's next for Apple?

Outside of this lineup, Gurman teases that Apple also has new AirTags, Apple TV, and HomePod mini on the way, with updated iPads,iPads, iPad Airs, MacBook Airs,, and even an iPhone 17e in the works.
