Apple has finally introduced the ‘Apple Intelligence’ at the WWDC 2024. Apple Intelligence brings AI-packed features to iPhones, iPads and Macs and will come with integrated iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia. Apple claims that its Apple Intelligence combines the GenAI models with personal context to offer users a variety of features for their day-to-day tasks while maintaining privacy and security.

Apple Interaction Writing Tools:

Upcoming iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia will help the users write, proofread, summarise text across various applications including Mail, Notes, Pages and three-party. It will enhance user experience with grammar checks and contextual summaries.

Mail And Notification:

Mail and Notifications have seen more advancements with Priority Messages and Smart Reply which will allow users to quickly respond to the mails. It also gets Reduce Interruptions for better focus and on-point messages.

Enhanced Audio And Visual Capabilities

The Notes and Phone applications will now be able to record, transcribe and summarise the audio using advanced machine learning. It generates summaries of recorded conversations as well.

Image Playground

The new way of creating images includes the Animation, Illustration, or Sketch styles within Messages, Notes, and other apps. The users can also use Genmoji to create emojis based on the descriptions or photos for more fun talks.

Revamped Photos:

Not only that, the users will now be able to search photos and videos using the natural language. It also gets a new Clean Up tool for removing distracting objects. It also gets Memories which can create narrative-driven movies from selected photos and videos.

AI-Powered Siri:

Siri comes powered with more smart AI. It gets richer language understanding and personalised assistance. The users can now type to Siri and switch between text and voice while the on-screen awareness feature helps Siri perform actions related to displayed information.

Integration With ChatGPT

Apple has finally integrated ChatGPT via Siri and will offer answers without leaving their applications. Siri will now be able to source detailed answers from the GPT-4o model and can generate content and images.

Apple Intelligence Availability

It will be available in beta and will be widely rolled out with iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia in the US. iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro MAX and iPad and Mac devices with M1 or later.
